Behind the numbers are real actions – ensuring fair and safe working conditions, recycling, installing our own renewable power sources, using sustainable material sources, reducing waste and carbon discharge, and care for our employees.
Bao Minh Textile has adopted the HIGG index to measure our sustainable performance. HIGG Index is developed by Sustainable Apparel Coalition (now called Cascale) – a global, non-profit alliance of 300 leading apparel, footwear, and textile brands, retailers, manufacturers. The Sustainable Apparel Coalition’s vision is of an apparel, footwear, and textiles industry that produces no unnecessary environmental harm and has a positive impact on the people and communities associated with its activities.
We measure our performance with Higg Index tools – Factory Environmental Module (FEM) and Factory Social and Labor Module (FSLM).
With a strong commitment to sustainable development and being transparent in the supply chain, Bao Minh Textile constantly strives for excellent and continuous improvements in everything we do to operate in the most efficient manner to bring only sustainable products to the market.
Some of the sustainable certificates Bao Minh Textile currently obtains are: Higg Index, Global Recycled Standard (GRS), Organic Content Standard (OCS), Recycled Claim Standard (RCS), Global Organic Textile (GOTS), Standard 100 by Oeko-Tex®, STeP by Oeko-Tex®, Better Cotton Initiative (BCI), ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 9001:2015.
