Bao Minh Textile is committed to continuously improve our production process to mitigate the adverse environmental impacts of our manufacturing activities. For us, “sustainable development” and “effective business operation” must always go hand in hand. Thus we make sure to align our sustainability strategy with the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) of the United Nations. 

The 4 main goals we heavily focus on are: 

Goal 8 – Decent work and economic growth 

Goal 12 – Responsible consumption and production 

Goal 13 – Climate action

Goal 17 – Partnerships for the goals 

To proactively minimize the negative impacts on the environment, we choose to: 

1. Use only “green sustainable” materials in our production process, such as BCI (Better Cotton Initiatives) yarns, organic cottons and those that have Oeko-Tex® 100
2. Work with only dye colors and chemical suppliers with strong commitment to SDGs or have been recognized as responsible manufacturers 
3. Use solar power to reduce CO2 emissions 
4. Gradually switching from fossil fuels (coal) to more environmentally friendly biomass fuels (rice husk pellets) 

Moreover, we prioritize setting up our environmental management system following the ISO 14001:2025 standards and adapt it throughout our production process.
